BuildYourOwnCurriculum (BYOC) is Getting a New Look!

BuildYourOwnCurriculum (BYOC) was developed in 2002, and has served as the leading curriculum management software across the nation for the past 20 years. We take pride in leading the market with our tools, but we are always striving to improve our offerings and expand our reach to empower more educators and districts.

Over the last few months, we have poured our hearts and souls into a new name and image that accurately depict our vision to help you successfully navigate ever-changing curriculum development and delivery standards. BYOC’s new name, Embarc, was chosen to highlight the journey aspect of curriculum-driven instruction. The logo was specifically created to showcase that curriculum is the cornerstone of quality instruction and guides the educational journey.

The tool our clients know and love will continue working as it always has. The changes at this time are solely with the name, logo, and colors of our award-winning software. The intuitive nature, ease of navigation, connection to lesson planning, and robust analytics will remain unchanged, but know our team is always innovating to make the experience even better!

The service, support, and integration process will also remain unchanged, but we always welcome ideas for continuous improvement. Our team will continue to offer free academy trainings, help and training documents, and professional services to support the implementation and integration of curriculum content.

So, what’s next for Embarc? We recently received 680 responses to our Enhancement Survey with many proposed ideas for new features, navigation, and integration. Based upon our survey, we will be working to develop a deeper integration with Google Classroom in order to save teachers time in creating assignments and sharing their Embarc content through Google.

Our goal is to help you provide equity to every student with consistent high-quality curriculum available to every teacher with the analytics to monitor and adjust instruction as needed. Our software continues to adapt using customer input using best practice in curriculum management to promote student achievement.
