Yes! TestHound can even be used to streamline scheduling and logistics for events such as field trips and graduations, as well as to track technology assets distributed to students.
Can TestHound help me locate a missing test booklet?
TestHound connects to industry-standard USB scanners so you can scan testing materials directly into a secure database, allowing you to track testing materials from the moment they arrive until the moment they are shipped out. With TestHound, you can search for materials and get instant access to timestamped records and exact shipping information. With TestHound you can oversee district testing materials with confidence and never lose a test booklet again!
Can TestHound help with oversight of the testing process at the district level?
Yes! Both campus and district testing coordinators have access to TestHound data and reports to quickly and easily manage and control all aspects of the student testing experience. This provides a reliable checks and balances system to improve efficiency, ensure accuracy, and prevent errors before they happen.
How are data feeds managed, and are they secure?
TestHound data integration specialists work with district tech staff to download student information from the SIS in a nightly feed. We work with tech to develop a programming script to automate the process and support the tech team until it is a seamless process. We take extra precautions in keeping student information secure, which is required of FERPA. Nightly feeds are uploaded to a secure FTP server where they are encrypted for storage. Then, as TestHound uploads the feed into the program, the data are encrypted a second time for added security.
How does TestHound know what testing accommodations my students need?
TestHound’s Auto Pilot integrates with your student information system, as well as with your Special Education and English Language Learner programs, to automatically provide testing coordinators with the most up to date student accommodations. Auto Pilot sends instant alerts regarding changes to the data, reducing human error, and removing
the threat of testing irregularities due to incorrect student accommodations.
How does TestHound track student testing history?
TestHound’s Performance Tracker captures the entire testing history of each of your students, including testing exemptions and necessary retest requirements. Performance Tracker allows staff to quickly and easily view students’ end-of-course exam status to ensure they have met assessment requirements for promotion and graduation.
What is Multi-Session Scheduling?
TestHound’s Multi-Session Scheduling allows for a more efficient method of coordinating student testing across a large testing window. Multi-Session Scheduling allows rooms and test administrators to be used across multiple days and tests.
What reports are automatically generated by TestHound?
TestHound eliminates the need for staff to spend countless hours manually creating state-mandated documentation and ensures all campuses across the district are using consistent reporting methods. TestHound automatically creates: materials control forms, labels for testing materials, master accommodations lists, master testing schedules, room rosters, seating charts, and attendance sheets. TestHound can even filter students into like rooms by accommodation and provide notification of student needs to test administrators.
