About
Amy Wieland joined the EAI family in November 2024 and is currently serving as our Vice President of Sales. Amy brings 35 years of public education experience including being a teacher, lead/peer teacher, technology specialist, curriculum specialist, and project manager for an enterprise assessment and data management system for a district of 45,000 students. During her career in K-12, Amy served as a consultant to principals on school improvement, a consultant to school boards across the state of Florida on the use of data to drive instruction and won several Teacher of the Year awards and grant awards. Her accomplishments in education technology include roles as an account executive, Director of Education Solutions, Vice President of Sales and Senior Vice President. Her elite accomplishments as an educator and her experience in EdTech over the years make her uniquely qualified to help school districts visualize the impact of Education Advanced solutions.
Why Education Advanced?
I recently took a year off from EdTech and went back into the classroom as a 3rd grade teacher. I was able to experience first-hand what teachers and districts face in the areas of curriculum, assessment, evaluation, and technology. I am thrilled to be at Education Advanced where I can see the impact of our quality solutions for districts across the country. Education Advanced combines the heart of the teacher with the efficiency of technology to provide outstanding solutions that save time and create efficiency. I'm thrilled to be a part of a team of passionate educators, devoted developers, and brilliant minds to support K-12.
Outside of Work
Amy and her husband Brian are the parents of 6 grown children and have 4 grandchildren. Four of Amy and Brian’s children are successful at wonderful careers from EdTech and insurance to supply chain and Disney on Ice! Two of their adult children are in college with one studying technology and security while the other one just got accepted to Veterinarian school. In Amy's spare time, she enjoys Siest Key Beach, outings with family, and loves to stay active with her Peloton.
